- Iron Stamped with Soft Enamel More information...
Iron stamped soft enamelling is an ideal method for those designs which require a thinner surrounding metal rim and lower budget. This allows for design coloring after outline cutting in which the process may damage the enamel around the cutting area. This process is perfect for larger-quantity promotional projects.
- Copper Stamped with Soft Enamel More information...
Stamped soft enamelling is an ideal method for those designs which require a thinner surrounding metal rim. This allows for design coloring after outline cutting in which the process may damage the enamel around the cutting area. This process is another substitute for real cloisonn’© or imitation cloisonn’©, and generally the most commonly used. Colors are not completely filled in the recessed areas, making the metal borders much more visible. This process is also frequently used for items with no coloring and with 3D relief.
- Imitation Cloisonné / Synthetic Enamel More information...
The perfect process for the customer who requires high quality, reasonable price, and a wider range of color choices. Synthetic enamel is a modern substitute for hard enamel. This process provides an outstanding quality finish with a broad range of colors to choose from, all at a reasonable price. Stoning and polishing (unique to this process) will produce a more flat, shiny surface than other processes. Imitation cloisonné pins will last a lifetime.
- Cloisonné / Hard Enamel More information...
Cloisonné, developed by the Chinese over one thousand years ago, is the ancient art of forming small cells, or “cloisons,” made of flat wire to form a design on a flat surface. Today this process is performed by molding the copper surface to form the “cloisons.” Cloisonné items can be considered more as collectable jewels than just simple promotional items. Since hard enamel is a glass-like material, cloisonné pins will last a lifetime.
- Brass Photo Etching More information...
Unlike other methods, brass photo etching is a chemical process used to transfer a design onto a brass metal base. This process enables highly detailed designs and significantly reduces the thickness of the material. This method is generally used for larger-sized designs and lower-cost items.
- Custom Color More information...
This item can be produced in any color you specify. Please provide pantone numbers for more accurate color reproduction.
- Photo Etching with Soft Enamel More information...
Soft enamelling differs from cloisonn’© in some respects. While both processes are performed by hand, soft enamelling uses enamels that can be mixed to create hundreds of colors corresponding to the pantone chart.
- Fired Decal More information...
Decals are made by printing artwork onto an adhesive sheet, which is then cut and applied to a surface. After heating (firing), the decal is permanently affixed to the surface. Decals can be either 4-color process or any number of spot colors. Foil colors such as gold or silver are also available. Decal prices depend primarily on three factors: size, quantity, and the number of colors.
